Brief Introduction

Carbon fiber composite material is our self-developed high-strength composite material, and has obtained national invention patent (patent number ZL201310597859.0, ZL201310343890.1). This material has excellent wear resistance and is free from almost all chemical corrosion, under certain conditions the material can be used at temperatures of up to 150 degrees.

What is Carbon Fiber Composite Material

In the field of pumping wear and corrosive fluids, non-metallic materials is become a worldwide trend. Carbon fiber composite material is our self-developed high-strength composite material. This material is made of carbon fiber, silicon carbide, and chemically reacted with high-performance coupling agent at high temperature. SiC is the third superhard material with a Shore hardness of 9S (diamonds is 100). This synthetic material’s hardness is nearly same as diamond thanks to SiC. Almost no tools can machined the material, so all pump parts are precision-cast one-shot, with highly accuracy and wear resistance. Carbon fiber is added to this material to meet the mechanical properties required. Due to the use of high-performance coupling agent, it has been determined that there are few free electrons on the surface and there is no possibility of electrochemical corrosion. It can resistant to almost 99% of the chemical medium. The maximum working temperature can reach 150°C, and its service life is 6-10 times longer than 2205, CD4MCU,Cr30 etc..
